ReplyDeleteHaha, nicknackery, never heard of that word but yes I'm Dutch, anyway I can imagine what it means and you are right: Best present is a real good gardentool, gardenbook or most favourite a plant!

ReplyDeleteLove that big terra cotta bell on your list! I have been going through all the garden catalogs that come to my house and making my list. Of course, gift cards to the nurseries would also be good!
ReplyDeleteGift vouchers have the advantage that you can get the plant you really want, and one that suits your conditions - something you don't always know about other people's gardens.
