Oh, thank you, that really cheered me up! I have Iris reticulata in teacups too, they are just about at the same stage, although the soil is so soggy wet it is amazing the bulbs haven’t rotted!
I'll definitely have to try those next year. I think we need all the cheer we can get at the moment - just been watching the news of all the floods and thank my lucky stars I live far inland and at the top of a hill.
Even here in the Midlands we've had loads of rain - have brought my pots of tulips, which I've planted for an April wedding, into the shelter of the greenhouse so that they don't get completely sodden ALL of the time. Surely it has to end soon?
So beautiful to grow bulbs in cups and saucers. I have some Iris reticulata bulbs in a cup.
