Wordless Wednesday. Wishing and waiting.

  1. Yes, exactly like over here. Sunday afternoon I got my seedboxes on the table and looking at all the promissing seeds, with a cup of tea.
    We still have to wait.

    1. Had to entertain myself by culling the junk in the shed today - I have big plans for re-organising it all. Also dusted off the heated propagators in anticipation. Will sow artichoke seeds this week.

  2. It can be hard work waiting can't it! Hope you aren't left doing it for too long :)

  4. Not long to go now, Britain is warming up...today was a brilliant day here in London, it was as if I could hear my garden take a deep breath and start growing again!

    1. Had a lovely warm afternoon here too, between the clouds. Spent some of it in the greenhouse, pricking out snapdragon seedlings. Amazing how much perkier everything looked just for a few degrees more of warmth - really starting to sit up and take notice. Hurray!!

  5. I've just about sorted my seed box out (probably did more playing than working!). They're little packets of hopes and dreams really.
It's even more frustrating for me as I haven't got a greenhouse and will have to use available window sills.
Spring will be here soon x

  6. There is never enough space - my windowsills will be pressed into service too! Looking forward to the forecast sunshine for the weekend.

  7. It's totally spring like today here in London, the first RHS flower show is this week, the first bulbs are in flower in the garden...it makes me feel great just anticipating getting out in the garden today. Hope you get some garden "action" this weekend.

    1. Snow's gone, the greenhouse beds are showing the first signs of germination (lettuce, radish, mustards) and the weather here is cloudy but relatively mild. Weeding here I come.
