Thanks. Had to use the little compact Canon Ixus for this week's Wordless Weds as the battery was flat on my SLR - was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the results - but then frost and ice make things so pretty that it is hard to get it wrong...
There's more to come by the sound of it - snow forecast for tomorrow and the weekend. Am preparing myself for a weekend sledging in the park and a further lack of gardening opportunities.
I love these. You have inspired me to get off my buns and get outside tomorrow morning. We'll have a bit of snow too. The first and third photos are my favorite!
The first one wins for me. I think we all need something to inspire us in this weather! It is fun when you get out there with your camera though, despite frostbite in the fingers.
Amazing what will insist on trying to flower even though the odds are against them, you just have to admire them. A quick whizz into the garden usually shows another flower that has decided to open hope they all cope with the weather that has been forcast for tomorrow!
The tenacity of my viburnum bodanentse 'Dawn' never fails to impress me at this time of year - gorgeous pink scented flowers so welcome at this time of year.
Your photos are gorgeous !!
